Fragmented Forms 2008

Sellars Project Space is pleased to announce an exhibition of new paintings by Colorado artist CT Nelson and Polish painter Gosia Kosiec in an exhibition titled, Fragmented Forms. A reception, with the artists in attendance, will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008, from 6 - 9 p.m. This exhibition continues through April 12, 2008. Sellars Project Space is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 - 3 p.m. and by appointment.
An artist talk will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 1 p.m. The artists will be discussing their influences, inspirations and processes while images of their work and exhibitions are projected. CT Nelson is a gifted painter who moved to Denver to participate in its innovative art scene. His painting, which he refers to as “repetitive fragmatism”, has brought many awards including the Art Students League of Denver "Top of the Town" award, second place in the International Gamblin Oil Paints 2005 Torrid Grey Award and was chosen to participate in the nationally acclaimed Cherry Creek Arts Festival in 2006.
Gosia Kosiec graduated with her MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland, in 1997 and has been exhibiting ever since. Her work has been featured in several exhibitions throughout Poland, across Europe and in the US most notably Sotheby’s in Amsterdam, the Lodz Central Museum, and the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in New York.
