sellarsprojectspace is pleased to announce an exhibition of new paintings by Colorado artist, Kathy Knaus in an exhibition titled, The Butcher's Daughter. This exhibition is open to the public from January 1 through February 9, 2009. An opening reception will be held for the artist on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 6 - 9 p.m. sellarsprojectspace is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 - 2 p.m. and by appointment.

Kathy Knaus' work explores the relationship between her father’s meat market and memories distilled from the experience of working alongside family members. Her life journey is mirrored in the cooler door paintings on exhibit at Sellars Project Space, exposing her inner and outer vulnerabilities.
